Derek Dunn

Derek joined the financial services industry in 2014, shortly after graduating college. He quickly learned that strategizing and  assisting with the planning process was where he excelled. His partnership with Wesley grew organically through their shared servient attitude and they quickly became a dynamic duo in their service model to clients. Their process-based approach that is not driven by products but rather a series of conversations and clear communications to create goals while establishing the strategies, paths, and resources needed to work towards accomplishing them.  This is a time-tested approach that helps serve clients well.

Derek graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2013 with bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Economics. Shortly after that, he joined the financial services industry and learned that client relations and assisting in the financial process were his niche. In addition to his technical skills, he is Life and Health Licensed in the state of Nebraska.

Derek married his wife, Molly on April 16^th, 2021. Molly is a Video Editor and works in the Haymarket in Lincoln. They are fur-parent to their dog, Finnley. In their spare time they enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants and attending sporting events.
